What it means

Among the records in the state directory one could not be used: it is damaged, it was written by a newer zbx than this one, or it cannot be read. zbx skips it and goes on; a record it cannot read never stops a run.

The oldest records are deleted when there are more than 32, so a record that stays unreadable goes away on its own. To keep it, move it out of the runs directory, or run the zbx that wrote it.
