What it means

The TLS handshake with the registry failed its checks: the certificate does not lead to a root this machine trusts, it has expired, or it is for another host name. zbx verifies every HTTPS connection and has no option to turn that off.

Behind a proxy that inspects traffic, the proxy's own certificate authority must be trusted: put it in the system store, or point SSL_CERT_FILE at a file holding the certificates to trust. A wrong clock makes every certificate look expired or not yet valid.
