What it means

zbx was given text that is not an image reference. A reference is

[registry/][namespace/]name[:tag][@sha256:<64 hex digits>]

and zbx never guesses a repair: an uppercase name, a space, a URL, a missing name or a digest of another kind is refused with the reason.

Without a registry the image is on Docker Hub (docker.io), and a name of one part there lives in the library/ namespace, so "alpine:3.20" is docker.io/library/alpine:3.20. The first part names a registry when it has a dot or a port, or is "localhost"; otherwise it is a namespace. With no tag and no digest the tag is "latest". With both a tag and a digest, the digest decides.
