What it means

A store has one lock file. Every command that writes to the store and may reuse what is in it (an import, a commit, building a directory to run on, writing an object chunk by chunk) holds it shared while it works. "zbx store gc --confirm" and "zbx store restore", which move things out of the store, hold it alone. Without that, a gc could move an object to the trash in the very moment an import decided to reuse it, and the new tree would name an object that is not there.

The command waited ten seconds for the lock and gave up; nothing was changed. The message names the command that holds the lock when it is a gc or a restore, and says "writers" when it is shared importers that are keeping a gc waiting. Run the command again when the other one is done. A lock never outlives its process: if nothing else is running, it was held for the last of those ten seconds only.
