What it means
"zbx run" needs a directory to use as the container's root file system, and the path given to --rootfs is not one: it does not exist, it is a file, or it cannot be read.
In this version the root file system is a directory that you unpack yourself. An Alpine minirootfs works:
mkdir alpine tar -xzf alpine-minirootfs-3.20.10-x86_64.tar.gz -C alpine zbx run --rootfs ./alpine -- /bin/sh
The container reads and writes this directory in place, so what it changes stays there. Unpack it as the user who runs zbx.
